Entrevue avec Émilie Plamondon (Punk Détente, 50 Shades of Punk Rock)

1- Where is the band from and what's the best thing to do there? We are from Lancaster, Pennsylvania! My personal favorite thing to do here is go to a diner late at night and sit and talk with friends. 2- What does your name stand for and what was the runner up? Local News Legend is the name of a episode of a cartoon called  Regular Show. Witches of the Week #1: Jigsaw Youth

Hello! My name is Nastacha Beck ! I play guitar for Jigsaw Youth . Thank you so much for reaching out to us! We seriously appreciate it.  1- Where is the band from and what's the best thing to do there? We are from Staten Island, New York! I think the best thing to do here is to go to local punk shows in my opinion. We're always down for live music whether its at a dive bar or a house party.  2- What does your name stand for and what was the runner up?      Jigsaw Youth is the name of a song by the punk band Bikini Kill . When Maria and I were growing up the lyrics had always resonated with us and the song became like an anthem for us in high school. Kathleen Hanna (the lead singer) is singing about how she doesn't care about society's preconceived ideas of how a woman should be and how a woman should act. She is in control of her own life, her own choices, and she's is proud of it on top of encouraging sisterhood and standing up f...
